“I have been attached to US Army’s Aviation assets since February 2005. Having my helicopter wings has been an invaluable asset to me.  Having my wings prominently displayed on my armor here in Afghanistan, has helped me gain access to things the average embedded photographer just doesn’t get. I have flown in 6 aircraft, even got to hang out the back of a Chinook all day long, due to the confidence that my wings brought to the table.

After my time here in Afghanistan, just as soon as I can, I plan on returning to Guidance Aviation to finish up my helicopter ratings, and go for a full time job as an Medical Evacuation Pilot.
