This July 2011, it was announced that Shannon Bowman is now the Assistant Chief for Private, Commercial and CFI Helicopter Ratings, and is now also an IP (Instructor Pilot) Supervisor.
Bowman has worked for Guidance Aviation since March of 2010. He has been the Safety Program Manager since fall of last year.
