Recently, you may have heard about the F15 crew members who were rescued by two V-22 Ospreys supported by CH-53 Super Stallion helicopters (VMM-266 Squadron). As the military retires the famous Huey and brings up the UH-1Y Venom, the V-22 Osprey is already flexing it’s wings in the field. Here’s a great visual of the Osprey’s capabilities. Great job to all of the VMM-266 Squadron and other groups participating in the rescue of our airmen.
