Prescott Airport Manager to Resign, Taking Position at Reagan National Airport

Ben Vardiman, Prescott Airport Manager, just sent us this note:

Dear Airport Tenants and Users

It is with mixed emotion that I wish to inform you that I have accepted a position as an Airport Operations Duty Manager with Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C. Accordingly, I will be resigning from my current position as Airport Manager for the City of Prescott with my last day in the office tentatively scheduled to be June 29th.

It has been a great privilege to serve you as the Airport Manager for the past 5 years and in other capacities for numerous years before that. It is with a sense of regret and loss that I choose to leave the Prescott area since, having lived here longer than any other location; I truly consider this my hometown. I will truly miss the friendships that have been made here on the airport and elsewhere throughout town.

Thank you again so very much for the opportunity to have served you and I wish you all the best for your future.

Sincerely,

Benjamin Vardiman, ACE
