Garmin’s aera 796 borrows alot from the iPad, but is much more as a dedicated aviation GPS. It’s a killer with 3D vision in a pure GPS. The aera 796 will be available for the first time Sept 22 – 24 at the AOPA Summit. Check it out here in the video from AOPA Online:
